We offer shared care between your Private Obstetrician and Your Outback Midwife for women who are healthy, with a normal/low risk pregnancy.
Pregnancy care commences from the time you book in, ideally around 12 weeks.

Welcome to Motherhood!
From the birth of your baby, we will support and guide you through this amazing period of motherhood providing home visits and phone consultations for up to 6 weeks and 6 days.
This package starts with an Antenatal visit of around 36weeks, with an assessment of mother and baby and a consultation to understand your postnatal needs.
Postnatal care is attended once you arrive home, with a minimum of 3 visits until 6 weeks and 6 days. This is flexible and based on the needs of the new family.
We will provide support for your breastfeeding journey, education on newborn care along with mother and newborn assessments.
Referral and consultation with your GP as required.
This package is arranged before birthing and the fee is paid upon 1st visit of meeting your new family.

Shared care is a model in which your pregnancy care is divided between a Midwife, and either the hospital Antenatal Clinic or your chosen Obstetrician. This allows you to have continuity of care throughout your pregnancy and into the postnatal period, and where visits can be modified to suit your needs.
